Four

Well, I don't get too much time to sit down at my computer and write without interruptions, but I am grateful to talk about our daughter.  I can't hardly believe it, but our little girl turned four.  Four years have gone by already!!!!  Time sure is flying!!!

On October 3, 2009 at 4:28 am, Jaycee Loelle Ehrlich came into our lives full of energy and it has never left her.  She keeps us on our toes and gets excited about so many things.  She is so much fun to watch as her mind is working and learning new things all the time.

Jaycee has been such a huge part of our lives.  I love how excited she gets about everything, whether it is a roly-poly crawling down the sidewalk, a ladybug that landed on her arm, or hearing her new baby brother Miles try to talk to her.  She has been one excited girl!!!  I can't say enough about how much she has impacted our lives and how much joy she brought us when we were finally able to bring her home with us and begin to figure out the parenting thing.  She gives us new things to think about and to challenge us with.  Life has never been boring with her in it.

We decided to do a few things differently for the day to celebrate her birthday.  We don't get to do too much since having a newborn.  But we decided that we would bring Miles with us and have a fun day!!!

Jaycee loves Miles and can't get enough of him.

Spangles was her choice of places to eat for lunch.

We got a treat at the Donut Whole.
A friend recommended it to me several months ago.
They make wonderful homemade specialty cake donuts.

We decided to spend the rest of my cash at the arcade.

Over the weekend Tom's family celebrated several of their birthdays.
We went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch.
On your birthday, you get to sit on a saddle and shout "Yee-Haw!!!"
