Spring Break Highlights

This year we have really been looking forward to Spring Break.  I think that we have needed the break from work and the normal day to day stuff and just time to do some things that we don't normally do and to enjoy being around each other.   I had some lofty plans for the break, but alas the weather was not my friend most of the time, so I will list some of the highlights:

Watching Basketball with My Husband
Kid's Consignment Sale
Tax Refund
Rain
Sleeping In
Rain
Reading a New Book (for fun can you believe it?)
More Rain
A Day of Thrift Store Shopping by Myself
Rain Again
Chick Fil-A with My Family
Another Kid's Consignment Sale
More Basketball with My Husband
Girl's Night In (My Favorite Things Party- more on this in another post)
Hunger Games
KU Jayhawks Going To The Final Four

That about wraps up our break.  While the rain did spoil some of the things that I wanted to do, we still had a great time together and just enjoying the time off to do absolutely nothing if we wanted to.  Believe me, one day we did just that.  After a day, I kind of got bored, but I still didn't plan so much that I still couldn't enjoy our time together.  I will have to say that watching the KU vs. North Carolina game was a great way to end the break on a high note.  We still have our brackets up and going, but I think that no matter who wins from here on out, Tom and I will be dead even so that means that it's a draw.  We still have the bracket up on our basement door for "Tournament Central" as Tom calls it.  I could say that it is a little crazy to have that huge bracket up, but actually I really love that we can both share that together.  It is quite the bonding experience for us.

Oh, well it is back to reality and I will write more when I get a chance.
