Here are some pictures of what we did for the 4th of July. We went to see Hancock the movie, with a few friends, then we took it easy the rest of the afternoon, and then some friends came over and we grilled and the husbands played with the fireworks.
Tom is trying to light fireworks. It looks like he is having a little too much fun. Luckily he did know what he was doing and no one got hurt. He is such a kid when it comes to things like that.
This is Meagan & Brenton Wells, some friends we had over for the 4th. Mollie is there too. She didn't really like all of the really bright and high fireworks. She also was just a little shaky from the noise.
They are kind of hard to see, but this is Travis Wells and Tom lighting fireworks. They had more fun than the teenagers across the street. It is good to have a holiday where you can act like a kid again.
Overall we had a fun time. It was just nice to be at home and just do some fun things with friends and have no worries about anything. That doesn't happen very often.
